Dopplr launches iPhone app anyone can use

Dopplr has launched an iPhone app of the billing information as a “social atlas”. Curiously, and perhaps wisely, you do not even need an account on Dopplr to use the program, which means that it will be exposed to a much more potential users. But a song down from the get-go is that you can not add to future travel within the app right now, which is quite a point of Dopplr, because it is user certificate. Hopefully that feature comes out soon. Until then, if you want to add trips on mobile people can use the site, Twitter, SMS or e-mail in the usual way, of course.

APP appears first on the iPhone, but Apps for Nokia, Blackberry and Google android platform is planned. APP is available from the iTunes Store here. But for Dopplr users, it should be a real blessing. APP adds the combined knowledge of your Dopplr network in an app that can tell where you are, and allow users to upload reviews themselves. There is also a built-in directory of the city’s advice and tips. Plus, as usual, see if your network is on the way to go to so you can plan accordingly. Users can also contact each other directly from within the app. There is plenty of content in the app downloaded from Dopplr own content and your social network.

The question mark with Dopplr is how it will continue to be fair to Tripit, which breaks together at a rapid pace and recently launched premium-flight monitoring and alarms.
