trojan horse small.bog !!!

trojan horse small.bog!!!
If You AVG detected about 150 infections in

“C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Apple Computer\Installer Cache\iTunes 8.2.1.6\iTunes.msi:\iTunes.cab:\iPodService.Resources_es.lproj_iPodServiceLocalized.dll”;”Trojan horse Small.BOG”;”Infected”

Some also in Temporary Internet Files, iPodService.Resources, basically anything that has iTunes or iPod in it. Along with system volume information and it says it also has this Trojan Horse.Small.Bog

It appears that everyone just got this result in AVG almost at the same time span. Hmmm….

Just updated definitions on my other computer (long standing itunes 8.2.0 was OK) and then AVG started flipping out the same way. F3N1X85’s workaround seems to be the ticket for now. Definitely go to Resident Shield -> Manage Exceptions, and add path for C:\Program Files\iPod and C:\Program Files\iTunes directories. AVG will certianly have to take a look at this, it seemed to start being a problem right after today’s definitions update.

so if there's a trojan with Small.bog in it, then it isnt existent even if it appears in something like C:/System Volume Information etc etc?
